The Saudi carrier said it flew a million passengers for the first time in July
Dubai: Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal has announced a significant seat sale in celebration of reaching a new milestone: flying one million passengers in a single month for the first time in July.
A four-day promotion has been launched, making 500,000 seats available with fares starting from SAR 49 (Dh47.9). The airline has launched similar promotions in the past.
One-way domestic flights are priced at SAR 49, while international flights start at SAR 149 (Dh145.91). This promotional offer is being extended as a gesture of appreciation to our customers for the airline’s recent achievements. The sale is scheduled to conclude at midnight on Wednesday, July 30.
Travel under this promotion is valid for a seven-month period, from September 1, to March 18, 2026. Tickets can be booked via flyadeal’s mobile app, its official website, and through various travel agents. Certain dates and specific flights on year-round routes may be excluded, and terms and conditions apply.
Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal, said July represented an “incredible peak” for the airline. He also noted that the extended travel period offers greater flexibility for customers to plan their journeys well in advance and take advantage of these special fares. This initiative is understood to be part of flyadeal’s ongoing efforts to enhance capacity, frequency, and choice to meet increasing demand.
Flyadeal operates a fleet of 40 Airbus A320 aircraft from its main bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. Its network encompasses over 30 year-round and seasonal destinations across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and South Asia.
Domestic destinations served include Abha, Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, and others. International services cover locations in Egypt, Jordan, the UAE (Dubai International and Dubai World Central), Turkey, and Pakistan.
Since its inaugural flight on September 23, 2017, flyadeal has flown over 35 million passengers.
The airline is recognised for its on-time performance and is part of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation (Saudia Group). Future expansion plans include the phased induction of 51 new Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft starting in 2026, and 10 Airbus A330neo widebody aircraft from 2027. By 2030, flyadeal aims to operate over 100 aircraft and serve more than 100 destinations.
