Aviall signs deal with Etihad Engineering
Deal expands Aviall’s offerings to include full supply chain support
Dubai: Boeing said it has, through its subsidiary Aviall, signed a multi-year aircraft parts supply chain programme agreement with Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways Engineering.
The deal expands Aviall’s offerings to include full supply chain support, including forecasting, planning, advanced provisioning, and supply chain administration. Parts associated with the deal include Boeing proprietary and Aviall-sourced parts used on Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft.
The contract is expected to grow further with the inclusion of more Boeing parts and the maturing Boeing 777 and 787 maintenance business in Abu Dhabi.
