Archer partners with Jetex to launch "vertiport" infrastructure for eVTOL air taxi service
Archer Aviation has announced a strategic global partnership with Jetex, a premier aviation services provider, to accelerate the deployment of Archer’s commercial air taxi network.
The collaboration will focus on developing and upgrading infrastructure at Jetex’s 40 private aircraft terminals across more than 30 countries, starting with the United Arab Emirates.
The agreement centers on enhancing Jetex's network of fixed base operator (FBO) facilities to accommodate Archer’s Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
High-end 'vertiports'
These enhancements will include charging infrastructure, passenger lounges, and vertiport integration — all tailored to Jetex’s luxury service standards.
“To succeed in the UAE and beyond we need to pair Midnight with strategic infrastructure that allows us to operate by delivering a premium experience for our passengers," said Adam Goldstein, founder and CEO of Archer, in a statement.
"With their wide-ranging global portfolio, and deep expertise with high-end customer service, Jetex is a perfect fit as a partner in Archer’s commercialisation strategy.”
Adel Mardini, Founder & CEO of Jetex commented: “eVTOL technology is an instrumental part of our industry, designed to transform urban mobility and shape the future of business aviation. We are proud to work with our partners at Archer on making this ambitious vision a reality at Jetex Abu Dhabi and our other global destinations.”
Global air taxi rollout
The collaboration expands on Archer’s previous infrastructure partnerships and moves the company closer to establishing a scalable vertiport network capable of supporting its global air taxi rollout.
Beyond infrastructure, the two firms will jointly design a seamless passenger journey — from boarding to baggage handling — setting a new benchmark for premium urban air mobility.
Archer has been advancing fast in the UAE market.
The company recently gained regulatory design approval for the UAE’s first hybrid heliport at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, and has formed alliances with top regional players such as Abu Dhabi Aviation.
The Jetex partnership marks another key milestone in Archer’s efforts to commercialise eVTOL flights in major international markets by 2026.
