Al Tayer receives Minister of Finance of Maldives

Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, on Thursday received Ahmad Munawar, Minister of Finance and Treasury of Maldives.

They discussed ways to bolster bilateral relations and avenues of cooperation in the exchange of information for tax purposes, investment opportunities and facilities that can be provided for Emirati investments in Maldives. The ministers also touched on procedures for attesting the mutual tax avoidance and investment protection agreements signed between the two nations on October 17.
