Ajman’s DED updates procedures for permits

Dubai: The Department of Economic Development in Ajman launched new procedures for the issuance of trade licences and permits, simplifying the process of issuing them.

The new procedures reduce the number of steps needed to obtain permits, the Department said, adding that permits are now available in both English and Arabic, having formerly been available only in Arabic.

A watermark has now also been added to the issued licences to increase safety and tackle fraud.
