Dubai: Thousands of revellers covered themselves in tomato pulp as they took part in Colombia’s annual Tomatina-style festival. Dressed in colourful costumes, participants hurled ripe tomatoes at one another, creating rivers of red across the streets. The lively celebration echoed Spain’s famous La Tomatina festival, drawing crowds eager to join one of the world’s most unusual food fights.
