Israeli police keep three other suspects under house arrest
Occupied Jerusalem: The Israelis have charged three Jews with the kidnapping and killing of a Palestinian teenager whose death set off days of violent protests in Occupied East Jerusalem and northern Israel.
Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld said the three accused appeared before a court on Monday. He said the suspects admitted to abducting 16-year-old Mohammad Abu Khudair and setting him on fire.
Rosenfeld said the suspects had re-enacted the murder.
Abu Khudair was abducted on July 2 near his home in Occupied East Jerusalem and his badly burnt body was later found in a forest.
Israel’s Shin Bet security service says the suspects, whose names were not released, were motivated by revenge after the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers.
