Dubai: Famous Syrian actress Angy Morad, known for her roles in television dramas, has passed away at the age of 33 following a severe health crisis, her family confirmed.

Morad, who was pregnant with her second child, suffered complications from a viral infection and was placed in intensive care in late January before succumbing to the illness.

Her mother, in a Facebook post, mourned the loss of her daughter and recalled the suffering she endured in her final days. “May God have mercy on you, my daughter,” she wrote.
