EMSS raises Dh50,000 for Gaza

Dubai: The Emirates Medical Student Society (EMSS) has raised Dh50,000 in cash donations for the people of Gaza.

Friday is the last day of the three-day campaign, that has seen the volunteers collecting cash donations and unused clothing from shoppers in Dubai Mall.

A spokesperson for EMSS said: “We have raised around Dh50,000 and are hoping to reach our target of Dh100,000.''

All donations will be given to the Red Crescent for distribution. Donations can be made at the various EMSS kiosks in Dubai Mall on Friday from 10am to 12 midnight, including the main kiosk on the second level.
