Oman

The Sultanate’s tally of COVID-19 cases has climbed to 112,932 in Oman after 1,095 people tested positive today.

The Ministry of Health announced 27 more deaths, taking total fatalities to 1,174, and 451 fresh recoveries, pushing total number of recovered cases to 99,278.

The active cases have now reached 12,480, including 193 that are critical under intensive care.

Kuwait

Kuwait today announced the detection of 708 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 121,635, the Ministry of Health said.

The new cases were detected after conducting 5,496 PCR tests during the past 24 hours, pushing total people tested across the country to 876,250.

Two people have died from complications caused by the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 746.

According to the ministry’s latest update on Sunday, a further 616 patients have made full recovery, pushing total recovered cases to 112, 771, leaving 8,118 active cases, including 121 that are critical receiving intensive care in ICUs.

Bahrain

The Ministry of Health announced the detection of 401 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours in Bahrain. This brings total number of infections to 78,907.

One people has died today, taking fatality tall to 312.

There are 331 new recoveries, increasing overall recoveries to 76,474. Active cases have now stood at 3,189, out of 74 still receiving treatment, including 3,160 are stable and 29 that are critical under intensive care.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia today recorded 323 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 344,875, according to the Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, 15 more died over the past 24 hours from complications caused by COVID-19, taking the total number of virus-related fatalities to 5,296.

The ministry also reported 335 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 331,330.

Among all cities in the Kingdom, Madinah reported 62 new cases followed by Riyadh with 41 cases. Yanbu recorded 29 cases followed by Makkah with 24, Buraidah with 14, Hofuf with 11 and Jeddah with 9 infections.

The remaining cases were detected in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom.

With the continuous drop in new coronavirus infections, active cases have also fallen with 8,249 reported on Saturday, out of which 767 are critical.

Qatar

The Ministry of Public Health today confirmed the detection of 205 new cases of COVID-19, pushing total coronavirus cases in the country to 131, 170.

One people has succumbed to the infection following complications caused by the virus, bringing death toll to 230.

Meanwhile, an additional 231 patients have fully recovered, raising total recoveries to 128,099. Active cases have now touched 2,841, out of which 377 are critical under intensive care.
