Suspect confesses to crime, as authorities probe motive

Dubai: A Saudi man was fatally stabbed by a Jordanian national following an altercation in Kerak, a city in southern Jordan.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to Amer Al Sartawi, media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.
The suspect fled the scene following the incident but was arrested soon after. During interrogation, he confessed to stabbing the victim multiple times with a sharp object during the dispute. Authorities, however, have not yet revealed the cause of the conflict or disclosed the victim’s identity.
The suspect has been referred to the Criminal Court’s Public Prosecutor for legal proceedings, while investigations continue to uncover the motive behind the attack.
