Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s new interior minister, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Nayef, was born on November 4, 1983.

He graduated from Dhahran Ahliya School and studied law at King Saud University before working in the private sector.

When King Salman became the ruler of the kingdom, he was appointed as advisor at the Royal Court in the law department and later in the border department, according to the biography posted by Saudi news site Al Marsad.

He worked for six months in the political division then as advisor at the Office of the Minister of Defence. In May 2016, he was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Interior.

On June 21, he was appointed Minister of Interior.
