Dubai: A Saudi man, who had been missing for two years, was found alive in Jeddah, 464 km from his home, local media reported.

Musallam Mosleh Al Marwani, 35, went missing from his home in the coastal town of Umluj in the northern province of Tabuk.

Al Marwani’s family never stopped searching for him during the past two years and posted his picture several times on social media, appealing for public help in finding their missing son.

His brother, Rabie Al Marwani said he recently published his picture in the Sabq online newspaper, seeking public help in finding him.

“I have never lost hope as I always felt that my brother was still alive. This is why I kept publishing his picture in newspapers and on social media platforms,” Rabie said.

A Saudi man living in Jeddah identified the missing man after seeing his picture and called his brother.

Rabie did not reveal the circumstances surrounding his brother’s disappearance but expressed joy after finding him.
