Saudi Arabia: 1618 new coronavirus cases, 22 new deaths

Dubai: Saudi Arabia has announced 22 new coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, its highest single-day spike in Covid-19 deaths, taking the toll to 480.

According the Ministry of Heath, the Kingdom’s total coronavirus infections has increased on Saturday by 1,618 to 83,384.

The ministry also reported 1,870 recoveries, taking the total number of recoveries to 58,883, leaving 24,501 active cases under treatment.
