Saudi Civil Defence urges pilgrims to follow safety protocols during Hajj
Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defence has urged all pilgrims performing Hajj 2025 to familiarise themselves with the location of emergency exits at their accommodations across the holy sites, as part of broader efforts to ensure safety and readiness during the pilgrimage season.
The Civil Defence Directorate stressed the importance of adhering to all safety instructions and preventive guidelines to protect lives and property, especially in high-density areas.
Pilgrims were also advised to stay alert to official updates disseminated through media outlets and social media platforms. The Directorate reaffirmed that all safety directives are designed to facilitate a secure and seamless Hajj experience for all worshippers.
In case of emergencies, pilgrims within the Mecca region are urged to contact the unified emergency number 911, which operates around the clock to respond to incidents.
The Civil Defence authority reiterated its commitment to maintaining a safe environment for pilgrims and called on all individuals to cooperate fully with safety personnel and regulations.
