The Central Market has remained shut for many months since the country closed a range of activities to fight COVID-19.

Muscat Municipality stated that all precautionary measures such as social distancing, wearing of masks and avoiding crowding will have to be followed by the sellers as well as the customers. The measures as stipulated by the Supreme Committee in charge of handling COVID-19 will have to be mandatorily followed.
