5.1-magnitude earthquake strikes Oman, no impact in UAE

Dubai: A 5.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded in southern Oman on Sunday.

According to a social media post by the UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the quake struck at 2:32 pm UAE time (1:44 pm IST).

The quake occurred at a depth of 8 km, and the NCM confirmed that it had no impact in the UAE.
