Dubai: Bahrain has reported 200 new cases of coronavirus infection, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 7,156, according to the Ministry of Health.

A total of 121 cases of the newly detected ones are expatriate workers, with 71 of them getting the virus from direct contact with active cases.

The ministry added that 19 COVID-19 patients have recovered fully from the symptoms of the virus, taking the total number of patients recovered so far to 2,929. The recovered cases have been discharged from dedicated treatment centres.

Meanwhile, now new deaths has been reported, keeping the kingdom’s death toll at 12.

Currently, a total of 241,132 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 4,215, among which 8 patients are in critical condition.
