Blast was attributed to negligence in a gas cylinder connection
Cairo: Three workers were injured in a gas explosion at a restaurant in Bahrain, police said.
The blast, caused by a gas leak, took place inside the eatery in the area of Hamla in western Bahrain.
The Interior Ministry said the three injured workers had received first aid from the National Ambulance Service on the site before they were hospitalised.
Negligence in a gas cylinder connection was the cause of the blast, the ministry added on its Twitter account.
The accident is the second such blast in the country in recent weeks.
Last month, 10 people were injured in an explosion inside a restaurant in eastern Bahrain.
That blast was caused by a gas leak in the restaurant in the area of Tubli.
