UK schools to close from Friday over coronavirus

London: All schools in Britain are to close from Friday "until further notice" as part of new measures to tackle the spread of coronavirus, education minister Gavin Williamson announced Wednesday.

"After schools shut their gates on Friday afternoon, they will remain closed until further notice," he told parliament.
