London: A selfie that two Newcastle-based women clicked at a bar in London has gone viral on social media because a “ghost” was also captured standing behind them.
The “ghostly” figure is of an elderly woman, media reports said.
The phenomenon was caught on camera by the two women — Victoria Greeves, 22, and Kayley Atkinson, 23 — as they were enjoying a ladies’ night out in Newcastle.
After finishing their drinks, they decided to take a picture.
After striking their best pose together, the two noticed there was a third person in the photo — an elderly lady in a Victorian outfit.
The women first uploaded the picture on Snapchat.
Terrified, they later deleted the photo from their phones but the photo is doing the rounds on social media sites.
