Paris: A man found to be carrying two handguns was arrested Thursday at a hotel at Disneyland Paris, Europe's most-visited tourist attraction, police said.

No one was injured during the arrest, a police official said.

The official, who wasn't authorised to be publicly named according to police policy, couldn't provide further details on the incident or the suspect.

The park, which conducts security checks at the entrance, remained open Thursday. Employees at multiple hotels around Disneyland Paris, east of the French capital, said they continued functioning as usual after the arrest.

France remains under a state of emergency since Daesh extremist attacks around Paris killed 130 people in November.

Disneyland closed briefly after those attacks.

Officials with Disneyland Paris and the French Interior Ministry had no immediate comment about the arrest.
