Manila: A lucky lottery ticket holder from Metro Manila has won the ₱25.05 million (approximately $425,000) jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Lotto 6/42 draw held on Thursday night (June 19).

The winning ticket, purchased in Zapote, Las Piñas City, matched the six-number combination 02-14-16-28-22-30, according to the PCSO.

The winner has one year to claim the prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.

Aside from the jackpot winner, 62 ticket holders each won ₱24,000 for getting five out of six numbers, while 2,477 players will receive ₱800 for four matches, and 30,361 players will get ₱20 each for matching three digits.

The next Lotto 6/42 draw will be held Saturday.

No winners of $1.39-million pot yet

Meanwhile, no one won the Superlotto 6/49 jackpot of ₱81.89 million (around $1.39 million) on Thursday.

The winning numbers were 19-33-26-18-17-39. The last time the Superlotto jackpot was won was on April 29, when two ticket holders split a ₱22.43-million prize.

The Superlotto 6/49 draw is scheduled again on Sunday.

Just a day earlier, on Wednesday, June 18, another Metro Manila resident struck gold by winning the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot of ₱21.75 million (around $370K). The

winning ticket, bought in Project 7, Quezon City, carried the numbers 42-28-04-29-10-30.

This winner also has one year to claim the prize, net of taxes. In the same draw, 44 players won ₱32,000 each for matching five numbers, 1,809 will get ₱1,000 for four matches, and 27,610 players won ₱30 each for three numbers.

Mega Lotto 6/45 is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles renewed the agency’s call for public support, noting that proceeds from lotto ticket sales help fund medical services, health initiatives, and various national charitable programs.

Through mandatory contributions, PCSO assists both individual patients and government institutions, underscoring the social value of participating in its gaming products.

As required under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, winnings above ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% tax.

Claimants must present the winning ticket and two valid government-issued IDs.
