Tremor hits Lanao Del Sur province at 5.44 am Tuesday, aftershocks expected

A strong quake with a magnitude of 5.2 earthquake hit southern Philippines at 5:44 AM on Tuesday.

The quake's epicentre was reported at Amai Manabilang, Lanao Del Sur on the southern island of Mindanao.

Aftershocks are expected, according to Phivolcs. Intensity 4 tremor was felt in Kalilangan town in neighbouring Bukidnon province; iIntensity 3 Talakag, Bukidnon as well as Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental; while intensity 1 was reported in Malaybalay, Bukidnon and Kidapawan City, Cotabato.
