Leftist hitman presented to media
Manila: Security forces presented to the media a leftist hitman who allegedly confessed to the killing of two former comrades who became members of a rival leftist group, officials said yesterday.
Chief of Staff Gen Generoso Senga presented Delfin de Guzman, also known as Rafael Cruz, 11 days after he was arrested, on May 11 in his residence in San Mateo village, Norzagaray town in northern suburban Bulacan.
Gunned down
He admitted his participation in the murders of Romulo Kintanar and Arturo Tabara, two former ranking communist personalities, said Senga.
Kintanar was gunned down inside a restaurant in suburban Quezon City in January 2003.
Tabara was shot dead at the parking lot in a Quezon City mall in August 2004.
