Pakistani student clinches second position in Nasa contest

More than 3,000 students from 14 countries took part in competition

Karachi: A Pakistani ‘O’ Level student, Shah Mir Aizaz, has attained second position in the Ames Space Settlement Design Contest 2015 hosted by the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa).

Shah Mir Aizaz stood second in the competition for his entry named “Beyond Infinity — Eros Outer Atmosphere Settlement”.

More than 3,000 students from 14 countries took part in the competition, sponsored by the Nasa Ames Research Centre.
