Islamabad: Pakistan’s provincial government has announced it will rebuild the Hindu shrine destroyed by a mob in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Chief Minister of KP Mahmood Khan on Friday declared that the KP government will immediately start reconstructing the temple and also ensured the protection of all the worship places of minorities.

The KP government had earlier strongly condemned the incident.

Strict action

Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the tragic incident and assured stern action against the culprits.

Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri said attacks on places of worship of minority religious groups are not allowed in Islam.
