Islamabad: Two Indian warplanes violated Pakistan’s airspace by three nautical miles on Tuesday but returned as Pakistani Air Force scrambled two jets, a PAF spokesman said.
The violation occurred around 10.40am local in Attari, Fazilka sector and the Indian aircraft stayed inside Pakistani airspace for about two minutes, he said.
“Pakistan Air Force initiated prompt tactical actions and scrambled two fighter aircraft to challenge the intruders. Upon PAF actions, Indian aircraft exited the Pakistani airspace,” the spokesman said.
