Deportations stem from drug-related crimes, illegal immigration, and job violations

Dubai: A total of 131 Pakistani nationals have been deported from 12 different countries in the last 48 hours for a variety of offenses, including drug-related crimes, illegal entry, and job abandonment.
According to Pakistan immigration sources, Saudi Arabia expelled 74 Pakistanis for drug trafficking and leaving jobs without notice. The United Arab Emirates also deported several Pakistanis for visa violations, theft, and other crimes. .
In addition, Oman, Cambodia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Mexico returned Pakistani nationals for violations of immigration laws. Notably, two Pakistanis were sent back from Mauritania and Senegal after being accused of human smuggling, Geo TV reported.
Meanwhile, 16 of the deported individuals have been transferred to the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, while six others are being investigated by local police in Larkana, Kalat, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, and Rawalpindi.
Offloaded
According to reports, FIA immigration authorities at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi offloaded 86 passengers over the same period. Among them, 30 Umrah pilgrims were prevented from boarding due to a lack of advance hotel bookings and insufficient funds for travel.
Additionally, seven passengers travelling on student visas to Cyprus, the UK, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan were stopped, as well as travellers with tourist visas to destinations including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and South Africa.
