Dubai: A train from Delhi’s Nizamuddin to Ghaziabad derailed this evening around 5:40 pm, near Shivaji Bridge on the down main line, in India. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

The fourth coach of the passenger train reportedly went off tracks, causing disruption with several trains being delayed or rerouted. Railway authorities were dispatched immediately and restoration work began quickly.

The Northern Railway launched an investigati0on, according to Indian media outlets, to determine the cause of the derailment.
