The Indian gym instructor had over 500,000 followers on the social networking platform
Dubai: TikTok celebrity Mohit Mor, who had over half a million followers on the channel, was shot dead on Tuesday, leading to a deluge of condolences online from his fans.
The 25-year-old Indian was at a photocopy shop in Najafgarh, near New Delhi, when three men came in on bikes and shot him 13 times. The men were caught on CCTV camera leaving the shop. While two of the attackers were wearing helmets, the third could clearly be seen and police are on the hunt for the killers.
Indian news service IANS quoted one of the police officers as saying, “When Mohit Mor was busy talking with his friend inside the shop, three armed persons barged inside the shop and indiscriminately fired 13 bullets on him. Mohit Mor fell on a sofa kept inside the shop. He was rushed to near-by hospital where he was declared brought dead.” Pictures of him bleeding, lying on the sofa went viral online, with fans shocked by the murder.
