Bengaluru: Three men were reportedly killed and two sustained severe injuries in a blast at a storage depot of a transport company near in Bengaluru's busy business zone of Chamarajpet on September 23.

Harish Pandey, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said the exact reason for the blast is not known. “There are initial reports of an explosive material being transported by the company, which some say are crackers. But this is preliminary information which needs to be verified,” he said.

Local media identified the three dead individuals as Fayaz (50) Manohar (29) and Aslam (45). Police said Fayaz ran a crackers shop, Manohar was a goods vehicle driver and Aslam had a puncture repair shop near the godown.
