Hyderabad: The body of a victim who died in the deadly terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka on Sunday last reached his home in Hyderabad for the funeral.
34 year old V Tulsiram, who died in a suicide blast in Shangri-La hotel in Sri Lanka was laid to rest at a church graveyard in Bollarum area.
His home in Nagarjuna Colony of Yellareddyguda in Hyderabad was enveloped in a gloom as a large number of relatives and friends gathered to have a last glimpse of the scarred body of Tulsiram and condole her old and ailing mother who was numbed by shock.
Tusliram, a businessman had gone to Sri Lanka on vacation along with his two friends Mohan and Srinivas and the family came to know of his death when one of his friends returned to India.
Later the family was also informed by the Indian embassy in Colombo about his death and made arrangements to send the body back.
Mohan survived as he had left Colombo on Sunday itself advancing the group’s plan to return on Monday.
Shangri-La was among the several places where the suicide bombers struck killing more than 350 people.
