A heartwarming viral video tells the story of Mr Alex—a three-month-old bull calf who now resides on the 28th floor of a high-rise apartment in Chennai. The calf was rescued by architectural designer Thejaswini S. Rangan after being found injured on the streets when he was barely a month old.

According to an NDTV report, Mr Alex has adapted beautifully to his unusual urban home. He enjoys affectionate cuddles, lounging on the balcony, and gazing out at views of the Bay of Bengal and the Buckingham Canal.

His gentle temperament sets him apart—unlike many calves, he's well-mannered, avoids headbutting or kicking, and is particularly fond of cuddling both humans and the family's pet dogs.

The name "Mr Alex" was inspired by the calf’s tilted head posture when first rescued, which reminded his caregiver of the character Alex Pandian.
