Real 'Chaiya Chaiya' atop Lalu's train
Patna: Women folk dancers dancing atop a train were till date limited to the Bollywood screen, but Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav brought the magic of Shahrukh Khan and Malaika Arora live in Bihar, by making folk artistes sing and dance atop a moving train.
While Lalu was sitting in his special compartment, women attired in colourful sarees swayed on the folk tunes atop his train.
Hundreds of people thronged alongside the rail track and ran along with the slow moving train. "Lalu can do magic," said Gajen, who was mesmerised to see such a scene in his real life. The villagers said they had never seen any such performance even in films.
"No we have not seen Dil Se - a Hindi film where Shahrukh Khan sang Chaiya Chaiya... atop a moving train," said Pramod.
On being asked how he manages to 'weave magic', Lalu in his characteristic style said, "Magic has been done, now spell has to be cast".
