Thiruvananthapuram: At least three Keralites won their contests in the Karnataka assembly polls, in which the Congress scored a thumping win over the Bharatiya Janata Party.

According to early reports, U.T. Khader of the Congress won from the Mangalore constituency with a margin of more than 30,000 votes. Two other Keralites who were Congress candidates, N.A. Harris and K.J. George won respectively from the Shanthi Nagar and Sarvajnanagar constituencies, respectively.
