A woman from Pune, India was arrested for allegedly hiring two killers to murder her husband and she did it with the help of a friend.

She was booked on Wednesday, October 24, for allegedly conspiring to murder her husband. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Ursula Yeshu Das reported at Nigdi police station a day earlier that her husband, Yeshu Murgan had been murdered.

According to a reported by Indian Express, the police had lodged an offence of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Upon investigation, police discovered that Ursula had allegedly conspired with her friend, 24-year-old Bhaurav Aare who was also arrested, to murder her husband by hiring two killers for Rs 1.3 lac (Dh6,700).

Police stated that Ursula worked as a caretaker on a school bus, whereas, Aare works as the driver of that bus.

The two alleged killers, identified as 19-year-old Razzak Shaikh and 21-year-old Lakhan Kapare, have been arrested as well.

The hired duo allegedly killed Das by attacking him with a sharp weapon at his residence in the early hours of Tuesday.
