India: Tirunellai Narayana Iyer Seshan, or TN Seshan, the former Chief Election Commissioner of India, died in on November 10 after a cardiac arrest. He was 87 years old.
TN Seshan was in office fromDecember 12, 1990, to December 11, 1996.
Dr SY Quraishi, Former Chief Election Commissioner of India,called him "a true legend and a guiding force for all his successors."
