While many of his popular Bollywood films have released in different languages across the globe, a short clip from the Hindi movie ‘Mohabbatein’, dubbed in what many claim to be Chinese, is going viral on social media. While the clip is old, it has resurfaced again on social media.

A twitter user @itsLionOo tweeps: "The Chinese version of 'ankhain khuli hon ya hon band (If my eyes are open or closed…)' is the most legendary video ever uploaded on the internet. Always lifts my mood."

As Shah Rukh Khan completes 28 years in the Indian cinema, the far-reaching popularity of Bollywood actor is seen beyond geographical and cultural borders. Social media users were excited about sharing the video on this occasion. The original version of this song was composed by Jatin Lalit, while vocals are by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan, apart from other singers.

This video also triggered a debate among social media users, with many wondering whether or not the song is actually dubbed in Chinese.
