Patna: Police in Bihar are probing the bizarre case of a 10-year-old boy who is alleged to have killed three children, all below a year old.
The case of Amarjeet Sada is giving sleepless nights to police and people in Begusarai district's Musahari village, 125km from here. His latest victim seems to be six-month-old Khushboo who was found buried on Tuesday.
The baby's mother Chunchun Devi told police that she had left her sleeping in the primary school on Tuesday evening. When she returned after a while, the baby was missing and a search was launched.
A few hours later, Amarjeet apparently admitted that he had strangled her and led villagers to the spot where he had buried her.
Police took the boy into custody and produced him in court yesterday. They are also investigating his role in the deaths of his eight-month-old sister and nine-month-old cousin.
