Dubai: The UAE experienced a scorching day on Saturday, with temperatures hovering close to 50°C. According to the National Center of Meteorology, the maximum temperature in the country was recorded at 49.1°C in the Sweihan area of Al Ain at 2:15 pm on June 14.

Other parts of the country also saw high temperatures between 45°C and 48°C on Saturday afternoon.

The weather forecast for the UAE indicates that Sunday will generally be clear and warm throughout the day. As night falls, humidity levels are expected to rise, particularly in the coastal regions, which may lead to mist formation in certain areas during the early hours of Sunday morning. It's advisable for residents in these regions to exercise caution while driving due to potential reduced visibility.

In terms of maritime conditions, the sea will be slight to moderate, but conditions may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf by early Sunday morning. Conversely, the Oman Sea will remain relatively calm, presenting safer conditions for marine activities.
