Dubai: A convoy of around 300 bikers rode from Dubai to Kalba Corniche in Sharjah and back on the second day of Eid Al Fitr, marking their third charity ride aimed at giving back to the community.

Organised by Vicky M, president of Biker Brotherhood, a prominent UAE-based biker group, the ‘Biker Buddies Eid Brotherhood Ride 2025’ saw participants, including female riders, from 18 motorcycle clubs covering a 280km route.

The ride's charitable cause was to support the installation of water coolers in workers’ accommodations, ensuring that workers toiling in the summer heat have access to clean, cool drinking water.

Vicky said that the scenic route began at a petrol station on Emirates Road (E611), winding through desert landscapes and mountain roads before reaching Kalba Corniche.

Prior to the ride’s start at 5.45am, all the bikers, hailing from 24 countries, attended a safety briefing. Following this, the participants held hands in solidarity for a minute to reflect the UAE’s "Year of Community" slogan, "hand in hand." A brief stop midway allowed riders to meet, greet, and appreciate the journey together.

Flying in for a ride

One of the standout participants was Andy, a software engineer from China, who flew in specifically to join the ride. “When my friend Mohammed Irfan shared details about this ride, I knew I had to be there. I flew straight from China just for this—and wow, what an unforgettable experience,” Andy said.

“The vibe was incredible—riders from all over the world, each with their unique biking style and we bonded over our love for two wheels. The best part was the incredible sense of friendship among everyone--different nationalities, one shared love for riding. This trip gave me unforgettable memories, and I’m already dreaming of the next ride,” he added.

Kranthi Ramisetty, brand manager at Royal Enfield UAE, highlighted the club's pride in spreading joy through their epic rides, particularly those dedicated to supporting workers in the UAE. "With over 400 bikers from 38 nations, we’re proud to bring happiness into many lives, and the charity ride is a testament to that," he said.
