UAE traffic alert: Dubai announces traffic diversion on Al Qudra Road from June 22
RTA said diversion will be in effect for 5 months to implement bridge construction works
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion as part of ongoing efforts to enhance traffic flow in Dubai and improve intersections on Al Qudra Road.
In a social media post, the RTA confirmed the diversion at the Arabian Ranches junction starting June 22, 2025, for 5 months to implement bridge construction works.
The diversion includes:
Removing the traffic signal at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and the road connecting Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City.
Rerouting traffic flow outside the intersection area, allowing free flow movement in both directions between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan AL Nahyan Street
Adding two signal-free U-turns
To ensure a smooth journey, motorists are advised to plan trips in advance, head out early, and avoid peak hours.
