Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has successfully implemented a series of traffic enhancements on Dubai-Al Ain Road near the Al Faqa area, aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing road safety.

Key improvements include a new exit at Exit 58, leading to the U-turn tunnel before the Al Faqa area. This new exit is designed to streamline traffic flow for vehicles heading towards both Al Ain City and Dubai.

"RTA remains committed to implementing innovative traffic solutions that meet the evolving needs of our growing city," said Hamad Al Shehhi, Director of Roads at the Traffic and Roads Agency.

"These enhancements, including a new deceleration lane, a redesigned roundabout, and an acceleration lane, will significantly improve traffic flow and enhance safety for all road users," Hamad Al Shehhi said.

The project also benefits residents of Hind and Al Faqa communities, as well as farmers and workers in the vicinity.
