Three killed in truck collision on Emirates Road

Umm Al Quwain: Three men were killed on the spot in a crash involving two trucks on Emirates Road in Umm Al Quwain on Tuesday afternoon.

Colonel Hassan Ali Mohammad Bin Surm, director-general of Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence, said a rescue team used special tools to extricate the three Asian victims from inside one vehicle, but all of them were pronounced dead on the spot.

The bodies were moved to Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Umm Al Quwain.
