Dubai Media Office tweets in Hindi, Arabic, English about ties with India
Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, arrived on Tuesday morning in the Indian capital, New Delhi, leading a high-level delegation at the start of his first official visit to India.
Upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, the Government of Dubai Media Office said, Sheikh Hamdan and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Suresh Gopi, India’s Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Tourism.
An official reception ceremony was held in their honour, DMO said.
During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan will meet with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and hold talks with senior officials to explore opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation and strengthen partnerships across key strategic sectors.
The visit underscores the UAE leadership’s commitment to building strategic alliances with key international partners to foster growth, drive innovation, and promote collaboration across vital sectors, said DMO.
In another post, DMO shared an image of a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The post in Arabic carried Modi’s admiration for Sheikh Mohammed: “The whole world is a witness to Mohammed bin Rashid's vision for development and what Dubai has achieved.”
DMO also tweeted in Hindi, Arabic and English about Dubai’s economic ties with India and UAE-India trade relations.
Later, DMO shared an image of the ceremonial Guard of Honour accorded to Sheikh Hamdan with the title in Hindi "Namaste Bharat" (Hello India).
