Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, today witnessed the signing of an agreement by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) with Al Zarooni to set up the medical complex.
On his X account, Sheikh Hamdan said: “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives has signed an agreement with businessman Abdul Rahim Mohammed Belghozooz Al Zarooni, who will donate Dh150 million to build an endowment medical complex.”

The donation is part of the Mothers’ Endowment campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign seeks to honour mothers by establishing an Dh1 billion endowment fund to provide sustainable support for the education of millions around the world.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign, organised under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ umbrella, aims to revive the culture of endowments as a development tool.
It also aims to promote the values of honouring parents, kindness, compassion and solidarity within the community. The campaign also contributes to reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in the humanitarian sector by establishing a sustainable educational endowment.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign encourages community members to participate in a structured charitable initiative, making it easy for them to contribute through accessible channels. At the same time, it allows contributors to make donations in honour of their mothers, highlighting the crucial role of mothers in nurturing their families and supporting the education of their children.
