Plane dispatched for Emirati injured in Oman

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered a medical aircraft to transport an injured Emirati man back to the UAE for treatment.

The 48-year-old was injured in a traffic accident in Oman on Friday. He suffered a head injury in the crash in Thumrait, a Ministry of Interior statement said. The man is being treated at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.
