Mock-emergency exercise at Abu Dhabi airport on Sunday

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Airports will conduct a mock-emergency exercise at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Sunday.

Response teams from various units, including airport operations, security, fire and rescue, police, and medical services, will test their coordinated response to an emergency situation.

The exercise, which is in accordance with regulations issued by the General Civil Aviation Authority and in compliance with recommendations from the International Civil Aviation Organisation, will run for approximately two hours, between 2pm and 4pm.

Abu Dhabi International Airport will operate normally during this time.
