Mirdif Grand Mosque handed over

Dubai: The Department of Islamic Affairs, Awqaf and Charitable Activities received the Mirdif Grand Mosque, which can accommodate 2,477 worshippers.

The mosque, built in the unique Fatimid architectural style, is decorated with ornaments as well as verses from the Quran. It has a 45-metre-high minaret with a large circular dome decorated with verses from the Quran. The mosque features several amenities, including parking lots accessible through stairs and two electric lifts.
